Giant Strawberry Pop Tart

Treat the whole family to a fun weekend surprise with this giant frosted strawberry pop tart! This oversized pastry is simple to make using pie crust filled with strawberry jam and topped with homemade icing and finished off with sprinkles.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Pie Crust Sheets Strawberry Jelly or Jam Powdered Sugar Vanilla Extract Heavy Whipping Cream TOPPING Sprinkles

Layer two pie crusts on top of each other, then roll them together to make one longer dough sheet. Cut away excess dough to form a rectangle.

DIRECTIONS

Add the bottom layer to a prepared baking pan and spread with jam, leaving about an inch border around the edges.

Combine 2 more pie crusts and layer them over your tart. Then seal the edges, using a fork to crimp the bottom and top layer together.

Gently poke holes in the top later, then bake until the crust is very lightly browned. Next, combine the powdered sugar, cream and vanilla.

Spread the frosting around the top of the pop tart leaving a border. Top with sprinkles and enjoy!
