Remove giblets and pat the turkey dry, inside and out. Mix the seasonings together and rub it all over the turkey, including under the skin.
Place the aromatics inside the turkey's cavity. Then tie the legs together with kitchen twine and tuck the wing tips under the body.
Place the turkey in a roasting pan. Then pour chicken broth into the bottom, cover loosely with foil, and roast for 3 to 3.5 hours.
