This sage stuffing is a family recipe we always have on our Thanksgiving dinner menu. It's fluffy, buttery and lightly seasoned with the warmth of sage. It's easy to make in a casserole dish as a classic complement to your roast turkey.
Butter | Celery | Onion Stuffing Cubes | Baking Powder Chicken Broth | Egg Dried Sage
Sauté celery and onion in butter until softened, stirring as needed. to cook evenly.
Add the stuffing cubes to a greased casserole dish and sprinkle evenly with baking powder. Then add the cooked onions and celery and pour over the broth.
Finally, crack the egg into the casserole dish, and toss to completely coat the stuffing cubes.
Sprinkle with dried sage, cover loosely with foil and bake until the stuffing is hot in the center.
Garnish with sage leaves, then serve and enjoy!
