Creamy Spinach Artichoke Dip that's is super easy to make with just 5 ingredients. Use your crockpot or make on the stove top. Amazing flavor inspired by Applebee's famous appetizer. Served with homemade herby-buttered toasted pitas!
.75ozGarlic & Herb Dressing & Recipe Seasoning Mix(1 packet)
Pitas
4Greek pitas (no pocket)
8tablespoonsalted butter
1teaspoonsea salt
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
Instructions
Make the Pitas
Slice pitas using a pizza cutter or cut with kitchen shears into 8 triangle pieces.Generously brush both sides or each pita with melted butter, sprinkle with salt and herbs.Bake or air fry at 400º until light golden brown and crispy (about 3-7 minutes). Use a wire basket or flip half way through.
Make the Dip
Add spinach, cream cheese, Italian cheeses, chopped artichokes and garlic & herb seasoning powder to your crockpot set to high.
Cook for 1 hour, stirring half way through and more as needed to break up the cream cheese and blend everything togetherDip is ready when all ingredients have combined together evenly and are piping hot and bubbling. Turn heat down to keep warm so spinach does not overcook but stay warm for serving.
Notes
This dip can be served with crusty bread or tortilla chips in addition to or in place of the toasted pitas.Add extra spinach for a healthy boost!
