In a large bowl, stir together biscuit mix, milk, ham, ⅓ cup of the cheese (reserve rest for topping), Cajun seasoning and butter together just until a thick dough forms. Don't over mix dough. Fold in green onions (optional).
Using an cookie scoop, drop biscuit dough onto a non-stick or lined baking sheet. Use remaining cheese to sprinkle a little on top of each biscuit then bake at 425˚ for 10 minutes or until a fork poked through the middle comes out clean.
Remove baking sheet from oven and while biscuits are still warm, combine garlic and onion powder and parsley with melted butter. Brush onto the tops of the biscuits.

To melt butter for the glaze: Place butter in a bowl or ramekin cup and cover with a paper towel. Microwave to 30 seconds.
