Caramelized apples and vidalia onions are served over romaine topped with crumbled feta and chopped walnuts then drizzled with a tart honey mustard vinaigrette. Sounds good right? it is!
Sauté apples and onions. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add cubed apples. Add vidalia onion onions. Stir frequently and cook for about 3 minutes or until softened. Set aside to cool.
Make dressing. Add dressing ingredients to a mason jar and shake until well combined.
Combine salad and dressing and serve. Add mixed greens to 4 serving bowls and top with cooled apples and onion, then crumbled feta and walnuts. Finish with a drizzle dressing on top.
