Add chicken to a lightly greased crockpot. Spread out into an even layer. Sprinkle chicken with ranch seasoning. Cook for 4 hours on low.
Remove chicken, allow to cool slightly, just enough to handle, then shred. Add shredded chicken back to crockpot and add barbecue sauce. Toss to coat.
Cover and allow sauce to warm while you prepare the coleslaw. Prepare ranch slaw dressing in a large bowl by combining ranch dressing with slaw mix. Toss to coat.
Open each bun and top with shredded chicken and sauce, then slaw. Top each bun and serve.
