Chicken Caprese Sandwich

This easy chicken caprese sandwich  recipe is a flavorful and healthy lunch or dinner option, featuring juicy chicken, fresh mozzarella, and tangy yet creamy caprese  ingredients on ciabatta bread.


Boneless Chicken Breast Garlic Powder  Onion Powder Italian Seasoning  Tomato  Mozzarella Slices Pesto  Salt and Pepper Fresh Basil Ciabatta Rolls

Slice chicken breast in half horizontally on a cutting board to create two thinner pieces. Sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.


Cook the seasoned chicken to the grill or stove top. Lightly toast rolls if desired. Spread a generous amount of basil pesto on both sides of each slice of the ciabatta.

Layer on mozzarella cheese slices, tomatoes, and fresh basil. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper. Place cooked chicken cutlet on top of the tomato slices.

Place the other half of the ciabatta on top. Slice the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately.
