Butter Egg Yolks Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice Milk Or Half And Half Pepper
Melt the stick of butter over medium heat. Add egg yolks, lemon juice and milk or half and half and continually whisk for about 3-5 minutes or until sauce starts to get thick and frothy.
Remove from heat. Finally, sprinkle and stir in cayenne pepper and serve immediately.
1. Cook slowly over low heat. 2. Whisk constantly! 3. Do not overcook. Remove from heat as soon as sauce starts to thicken.
