In a separate bowl, mix together flours, baking soda, sea salt and nutmeg. Add dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips (and pecans if desired).
Scoop cookie balls onto baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake at 350˚ for 10-12 minutes or until middle is just set.
Remove from oven and let cool.
