Creamy shrimp Florentine is known for its rich garlic and white wine sauce. This dish is protein packed and is loaded with healthy spinach too. It's a restaurant-style dish that's surprisingly easy to make.
Linguine | Raw Shrimp Garlic Paste | Flour White Cooking Wine Chicken Broth | Lemon Juice Heavy Cream | Oregano Heavy Whipping Cream Parmesan Cheese Cracked Black Pepper
Cook linguine according to package. Drain and set aside. Cook the shrimp until pink on all sides. Move from the skillet to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm.
Cook garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Whisk in flour to make a roux. Stir in white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice until sauce is smooth and creamy.
Once sauce begins to thicken, reduce heat and pour in heavy cream. Add spinach and cook until it begins to wilt. Stir in oregano and half the Parmesan cheese.
Add shrimp back in and add the cooked linguine. Toss to coat everything in the sauce. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and black pepper and serve.
