A refreshing and impressive cocktail made with fresh blackberries, whiskey, lemon juice, and a hint of smoked rosemary. This easy-to-make drink is perfect for serving guests who appreciate a little drama and amazing flavor!
Muddle blackberries. Place blackberries into a cocktail shaker and press using a meddler to release their juice.
Add liquids and shake. Add whiskey, simple syrup and lemon juice then cap and shake.
Strain. Using the built-in strainer, pour just the liquids into your glass, filled with crushed ice.
Garnish. Add a sprig of rosemary and torch the end of the rosemary just before serving.
Notes
For added smokey flavor, you can trap some of the smoke using a tall glass dome placed overtop of the whole cocktail. Hold for 1-2 minutes and remove right before serving.Serve in a 8 to 10 oz rocks glass.Chill the glass in the freezer prior to assembling, if serving on a hot day.
