Limoncello Spritz

This refreshing cocktail is the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and bubbles! This mixed drink is great for enjoying outdoors or serving at a summer bridal or baby shower. Just 4 ingredients plus ice and garnishes. Made with limoncello, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, Prosecco, and a splash of sparkling water.

Ingredients

3 oz limoncello chilled
½ oz lemon juice ½ a lemon, juiced
3 oz Prosecco or champagne chilled
2-4 oz sparkling water chilled

Garnish

1 sprig fresh mint
1 lemon slice
¼ cup crushed ice

Instructions

Prep garnishes. Slice lemon or cut into wedges. Squeeze lemon juice, remove seeds and set aside. Wash mint sprig.
Craft your cocktail. Add ice to a 12oz glass.
Measure and add limoncello, lemon juice, then Prosecco. Swirl once with a stick to combine.
Garnish and serve. Top with sparkling water to fill in the glass. Garnish with a mint sprigs and lemon slice and serve.

Notes

Dilute with sparkling water as much or as little as desired.

Be sure to chill the lemon before juicing, the Prosecco, the limoncello, and the sparkling water so that the ice does not melt quickly and dilute the drink.
