Eggs Benedict is easy to make at home! Try my Homemade Hollandaise sauce recipe topping a toasted English muffin layered with a poached egg and Canadian bacon. Simply delicious for breakfast or brunch.
Flash fry Canadian bacon in a hot pan for 15 seconds on each side.
Layer fried bacon onto each slice of each English Muffin.
Top with one poached egg on each toasted muffin, then pour over hollandiase sauce.
Garnish if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Cover Hollandaise sauce to keep it warm and you can keep it over extremely low heat. You do not want it to overcook, just keep it warm. Stir if needed as you're preparing other items.Let any excess water from poached eggs drip off before layering onto English muffins. Use a paper towel to lightly dab away water if needed.
