Doctored ramen stir fry is a creative and flavorful twist on traditional ramen noodles. It involves enhancing basic ramen noodles with additional sauce ingredients, vegetables, and optional protein to create a delicious and customized stir fry that's ready in 15 minutes.

Sauce
1tablespoonsesame oil
1tablespoongarlic paste or powder
1teaspoonginger paste or powder
½cuplow-sodium soy sauce
½cupThai sweet chili sauce
3tablespoonmirin
Vegetables & Optional Protein
20ozfrozen stir fry vegetables
2cupsprotein of your choiceoptional
Optional Garnish
2green onionssliced
4tablespoontoasted sesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare ramen noodles. Add water and ramen seasoning packet to dry ramen noodles and microwave for 1 minute to soft. Toss to evenly coat noodles and set aside.
Cook veggies. Heat sesame oil over medium heat in a large wok or skillet, until it shimmers. Add garlic and ginger to the hot pan and saute for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add frozen vegetables and toss to coat in the oil and garlic-ginger mixture and then turn heat down to medium-low heat. Cover and cook for 7-10 minutes or until the vegetables are softened as desired.
Prepare sauce. While vegetables are cooking, in a small mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sweet chili sauce and mirin until combined.
Combine. Add cooked ramen noodles and ½ cup of the mixed sauce in with the vegetables and toss to combine. Heat for 1-2 minutes or until warmed to your desired temperature. Pour over remaining sauce and garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds, optional.
Notes
