These 5-ingredient honey BBQ riblets are a delicious, family-friendly, weeknight dinner that is full of flavor. Boneless bites of pork ribs are baked until tender in a sweet and savory sticky sauce. Perfect for serving over rice, mashed potatoes, or mac and cheese, these riblets melt in your mouth! Ready in just 35 minutes or cook longer for extra tender ribs.
Make sauce. In a large mixing bowl combine honey-barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning packet. Add pork and toss until riblets are well coated.
Bake. Pour riblets into a 9x13 baking dish. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until pork is fork-tender and sauce is glazed and caramelized.
Serve over mashed potatoes.
Notes
Internal temperature of pork should be 145ºF when done. Bake time with vary depending on size pieces you cut. So check early and pull from the oven when temp reaches 145ºF.
To add spice, add cayenne pepper, hot sauce, or red pepper flakes to taste.
Make your own rib seasoning using 1 teaspoon each: black pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Add honey to plain BBQ sauce if you prefer to control the amount of sweetness.
You can slow cook the riblets in sauce on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours or until cooked through.
For extra tender riblets, bake for longer. Bake up to 2 hours. Cover with foil so sauce does not burn if cooking longer.
