Worms and dirt for dessert? Trust me. It's yummy! What is Oreo dirt dessert? It's a blend of pudding, cream cheese and Cool Whip layered with crushed Oreos that looks like, well, dirt! Great for kids birthdays or decorate it for any holiday!
Crush Oreos. Place Oreos into a plastic bag and lightly roll with a rolling pin until the cookies crumble and you can't see the white cream anymore and it begins to actually look like dirt.
Make the pudding. In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully set.
Prepare the cream layer. In another large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand mixer until smooth and fluffy. Add prepared pudding and blend until fully combined. Fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula until the mixture is light and creamy.
Assemble. In a trifle dish, 9x13-inch pan, or clear serving cups, layer half of the crushed Oreos on the bottom.Spread half the cream cheese mixture over the Oreos.Repeat layers, ending with Oreo crumbs on top.For a white top, start with the cream cheese mixture.
Add toppings and serve. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 hours until served. Add worms or other decorations to your dirt dessert right before serving.

Notes
You can layer this with Oreos on top, or the pudding mixture on top. Whatever works better for your decoration plans!
Use whipped cream cheese or be sure to use softened (room temperature) cream cheese to better blend the pudding into a smooth and creamy texture.
Do not chill longer than 2 hours or Oreo crumbs will soften and become mushy.
