    Easy Piña Colada Recipe

A Frozen Piña Colada is one of those classic cocktails that's surprisingly easy to make at home. All you need is a good recipe!

Easy Piña Colada Recipe - No mix required

Just blend pineapple, coconut cream, ice, lime juice and white and dark rum. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, a fresh wedge of pineapple and a cocktail umbrella for extra fun! Or go all out and serve it in a pineapple! You'll totally feel like you're at the beach with this easy homemade drink!

What does this piña colada taste like?

This white, frothy, frozen beverage is sweet, a bit tangy and 100% tropical. You'll love how the creamy coconut contrasts with the citrusy lime. So good and refreshing.

    Hosting a summer get together?

This frozen concoction is perfect for a tropical or Luau themed party!

If you're serving a crowd, you can make a big batch and serve this on the rocks. Leave out the ice when you blend everything else, then put crushed ice in the glass right before serving. Pour everything else over top.

Orrrrrr you can get one of those fancy frozen concoction machines to keep it chilled if you're really serious about your summer cocktail parties!

Can I just break in and share a few photos from our Disney Cruise to set the tropical tone?

    Ah, vacation!

We're lucky enough to have just returned from our first cruise and it was rockin'! Literally, rockin', like on a very large boat on the open ocean. It was so crazy and fun and magical and if you get the chance, I recommend going for it! It's a once in a lifetime experience that I know my family will never forget.

A peek into our Disney cruise!

Since pictures tell a thousand words, I'm just sharing a few shots from our trip. Then I'll let you get to this very simple recipe for Piña Coladas you can make at home.

So this is the Disney Magic cruise ship docked at Key West. That is the real water color. No filter. Amazing!

    Disney Magic Cruise Key West

We said goodbye to snow for a few days and hello to sunshine and sand! Ahhhh...

Even the kids were feeling the Key West vibes...

Disney's Castaway Cay island did not disappoint. We saw big colorful fish, a sting ray, and ate banana ice cream.
