    ★ Why You'll Love this Recipe ★

Made with just 5 ingredients, this rum punch is easy to whip up, layered with flavor, and is a popular party drink that goes with just about any menu.

Pineapple adds tang, orange mellows things out and grenadine adds that pretty sunset-pink color as well as a touch of sweetness and cherry flavor. Lime enhances that citrus flavor of this punch creating a nice harmony in every sip!

Serve it spring, summer, or fall...

All you have to do is call... Sorry had to! So, I like to use white rum for a taste of the tropics. White rum also tends to blend well with the fruits creating a subtle flavor.

Dark rum can also be used for a more robust flavor and actually works well to turn this into more of a fall punch.

    Great for Gatherings

This punch can be made in a big batch and served in a beverage dispenser, pitcher, or punch bowl.

    ★ Ingredients You'll Need ★

You'll need 5 main ingredients for the rum punch plus garnishes, if you'd like to be fancy.

    For the Punch:

White rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and grenadine.

You'll want to add ice to the punch itself or offer it on the side to keep this punch cool and refreshing. Especially on hot days.

    For Garnish:

    Maraschino cherries and pineapple wedges.

★ How to Make this Recipe ★

This punch is simple to make, here's a look at how it comes together:

    1. Step 1: Gather ingredients, a container like a large glass pitcher or punch bowl, and drink ware for guests.

    ★ Tips & FAQs ★

How can I prevent ice from diluting the punch?

You can freeze some of the juice in ice cube trays and add that instead of ice to your pitcher.

Can I make rum punch ahead of time?

Yes! Mix all ingredients except ice and grenadine ahead of time. Chill, then add ice and grenadine just before serving for the best taste and presentation.

How can I make a version of rum punch non-alcoholic?

Just skip the rum and use coconut water for a mocktail version.

Can I make this into a spritz?

Sure! If you love bubbles in your drink, add a splash of lemon-lime soda, flavored sparkling water, or ginger ale to the top.

    Instructions

    •  In a large pitcher, add pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, and grenadine. Stir to combine and place in the fridge to chill.
    • Pour into ice-filled glasses.
Top with a splash of grenadine, if desired, for a sunset effect.
    • Garnish glasses with a pineapple wedge and cherries, as desired.

    Notes

    • This makes a 50oz pitcher which will make about 6 - 8oz drinks. Use the sliding scale to scale this up for a larger crowd or bigger glasses.
    • Most drinking glasses are 10oz which leaves you a little room for ice.
