    ★ Why You'll Love this Recipe ★

    Bright, Bold Citrus Flavor

Blood orange brings a vibrant, slightly sweet citrus flavor that stands out in the best way. It’s less sharp than lemon but bolder than a navel orange, creating a perfectly balanced tangy-sweet profile. Paired with Dijon mustard and honey, this vinaigrette has just the right zip to wake up any salad.

    Made with Fresh, Simple Ingredients

No preservatives, no mystery oils—just good, clean ingredients. This vinaigrette comes together with fresh-squeezed blood orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and thyme. It’s quick to whisk up or shake in a jar, and you’ll know exactly what’s going into your dressing

    Elevates Everyday Salads

A basic green salad becomes something special with this drizzled on top. It pairs beautifully with arugula, goat cheese, walnuts, beets, fennel, and even fruit like strawberries or pomegranate. It adds a pop of flavor that takes salads from boring to crave-worthy.

    Versatile Beyond Salads

This vinaigrette isn’t just for leafy greens—it’s great as a marinade for chicken or shrimp, or drizzled over roasted veggies. You can even spoon a little over grain bowls or use it as a dip for crusty bread. It’s a go-to dressing that adds flair to a variety of dishes.

    ★ Ingredients You'll Need ★

★ How to Make this Recipe ★

Here's a look at the steps:

How to Make Blood Orange Vinaigrette Dressing

    2. Whisk together dressing ingredients or add lid and shake.
    3. Drizzle dressing over salad or store in fridge.

    Simple!

    ★ Tips & FAQs ★

Can I use regular oranges instead of blood oranges?

Yes, you can substitute regular oranges if blood oranges aren’t in season. The flavor will be slightly less bold and vibrant, but still delicious.

How long does this dressing last in the fridge?

Stored in a sealed jar or airtight container, this vinaigrette will keep for up to 1 week in the refrigerator. Shake well before each use.

What type of olive oil is best to use?

Use a good-quality extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor. A milder oil lets the blood orange shine, while a robust one adds a peppery depth.

Can I make this vinaigrette ahead of time?

Absolutely! It’s actually better after a few hours once the flavors have had time to meld. Just give it a shake before serving.

What can I serve this dressing with besides salad?

Try it as a marinade for chicken or salmon, drizzled over grain bowls, or even over roasted vegetables. It’s also great for dipping with crusty bread.
