This creamy spinach dip is served cold and takes just 5 minutes to prep! A perfect last-minute party appetizer that you can serve with tortilla chips.
How do you make this delicious cold spinach dip?
This blend of cream cheese, salsa, fresh spinach leaves and garlic is one of my favorite appetizers to make for a party because it requires no cooking, only five ingredients and it's delicious! Serve with tortilla chips or crusty bread. The bowl always get scraped clean.
Perfect for a football watching party!
Anyone having a Super bowl party this year? Going to one? Take this! It'll be a hit. By the way if you're taking this to a football party, you might also like my easy no-cook tailgating recipes and my almond footballs with kettle corn snack.
Can you make this cold spinach dip with frozen spinach instead of fresh?
You can. Fresh spinach is going to taste a bit better and give you that more vibrant green color but if frozen is more convenient, then that's fine!
Since this is a cold dip, you can actually just rinse the frozen spinach under lukewarm water to defrost it slightly and then throw it in the blend still semi-frozen. It'll be fine and will chill the dip quicker.
You're going to love this dip.
Three reasons why this Homemade Fresh Spinach Dip is awesome:
1. It's ready in in just 5 minutes.
2. There are only 5 ingredients
3. It's packed with healthy spinach.
Oh, and it's addictingly delicious. Shout out to my bestie for sharing this recipe with me. She also shared with me her amazing manicotti recipe. Still one of my all time favorites.
You will need a blender to make this.
This dip needs to get pureed in order to make it creamy and smooth. For that you will need a blender. The ninja blender works best but any blended will do.
