    ★ Why You'll Love this Recipe ★

    Healthy and Tasty

This green smoothie recipe blends fruit, greens, nuts, and seeds for a drink that’s full of vitamins and still tastes great.

This green smoothie is packed with nutrients that support energy, digestion, and immunity.

    Health Benefits

Pineapple and apples provide a boost of vitamin C, while bananas add potassium for heart health and muscle function. Spinach delivers iron and folate for healthy blood and energy levels. Almond milk and almond butter add protein, calcium, vitamin E, and healthy fats for brain, bone, and muscle-building support. Chia seeds contribute fiber, omega-3s, and protein to keep you full and aid digestion—all blended into one creamy, refreshing drink.

Optionally, you can add a scoop of protein powder to really boost your protein.

    Quick and Easy

Just blend and go! You can change up the ingredients to fit your taste or diet. You can also choose to freeze the ingredients for a cool, frozen version of this smoothie. Freezing ingredients can be more convenient too.

    Fun as Popsicles

Pour the smoothie into molds and freeze for a cool treat kids and adults will love!

    ★ Ingredients You'll Need ★

You'll need 7 nutrient-packed ingredients to make this green smoothie both tasty and healthy.

    Here's everything you'll need:

    Healthy Green Smoothie Ingredients
    • Pineapple. I use frozen. Fresh or canned works, too.
    • Apples. Any apple works but I like Granny Smith.
    • Almond milk. This offers a boost of protein.
    • Almond butter. Or any nut butter you prefer. You can also just toss in whole nuts if that's more convenient!
    • Spinach. Fresh or frozen will work.
    • Bananas. Again, these can be fresh or frozen.
    • Chia seeds. These add slight texture and health benefits.

★ How to Make this Recipe ★

No cooking required, just blend and sip! If making popsicles, simply pour the smoothie into a popsicle mold and freeze.

How to Make Healthy Green Smoothie and Popsicles
    1. Gather ingredients, remove seeds from apple.
    2. Add spinach, nut butter, bananas.
    3. Layer in apples and pineapples.
    4. Add almond milk and blend until smooth.
    5. Pour into glass and serve.
    6. To make popsicles: pour smoothie into popsicle molds and freeze until solid.

    ★ Tips & FAQs ★

What greens work best in a smoothie?

Spinach is a favorite because it blends easily and has a mild taste. Kale and Swiss chard are also great options.

How do I make smoothies creamy without dairy?

Bananas, almond butter, and almond milk make this smoothie creamy without dairy. Avocado can also be added for creaminess. Oat milk can be used in place of almond milk if desired.

What can I add for more protein?

This green smoothies recipe already packs protein with chia seeds, almond milk, and almond butter. But if you want a bigger boost, you can also add Greek yogurt or a scoop of protein powder.
