★ Ingredients You'll Need ★
Here's a look at everything that goes into this sweet potato hash.

- Kielbasa sausage.
- Sweet potatoes. To save time, buy them already cubed.
- Onion. I prefer white but you can use red or yellow.
- Bell peppers. Any assortment of colors works.
- Hungarian pepper. The flavor complements the sweet bell peppers.
- Grape seed oil. Or any neutral cooking oil.
- Salt and pepper. Add to taste.
- Fresh parsley. For garnish.
Optional: Add eggs to make this into a breakfast skillet.
★ Tips & FAQs ★
Yes! To make it into breakfast, just crack in some eggs. After cooking, move everything off to the side and scramble a few eggs into the dish before serving. If using a cast iron skillet, you may want to add a little oil to prevent eggs from sticking to the pan.
When making hash, cut all the ingredients into small, evenly sized pieces. This ensures even cooking and balanced flavor in every bite. It’s simple—and once you’ve got that down, you can make a hash with just about anything.
I love my ceramic knife. I use it for almost everything because food doesn't stick to it! This makes chopping much faster and more sanitary when things aren't rolling off the cutting board onto the floor! Check out this colorful set of ceramic knives Amazon if you need one.
Hungarian peppers have a sharp, zesty, and slightly sour flavor with mild to moderate heat, offering a crisp bite and subtle spice. In contrast, bell peppers are more sweet, juicy, and completely mild with no heat.
