    ★ Why You'll Love this Recipe ★

This summer side dish is kid-friendly and popular at backyard barbecues and potlucks.

    Bright and Tangy

Fresh berries and lime from a farmer's stand make this salad even more delicious. Homegrown mint adds that secret ingredient of love making this dish both nourishing and refreshing.

    Ready in 10 Minutes

Incredibly quick and easy to put together, this berry salad with dressing is a delightful twist on the classic fruit salad. All you need is 10 minutes of prep time. No cooking required!

    Kid-Friendly

This berry salad with mint is a kid-friendly side dish that's perfect for a potluck, summer picnic or to serve at a birthday party or baby shower.

    Berry Fruit Salad with Dressing

This fresh fruit dish is easy to prepare with minimal chopping due to the nature of berries. The blend of berries not only looks amazing, it tastes great too!

    ★ Ingredients You'll Need ★

Here's a look at everything you'll need to make this berry salad, just 7 ingredients!

    Berry Salad Ingredients
    • Strawberries. Use fresh strawberries in this salad.  The strawberries have been halved in this recipe, but could instead be left whole or quartered. Be sure to remove the top stem and leaves (hulled).
    • Blueberries. Wash and towel dry before using. Blot using a paper towel to absorb extra moisture. This will help the berries to be well coated with the dressing.
    • Blackberries. Use fresh blackberries in this salad, blot to remove excess moisture after washing.
    • Raspberries. Use fresh raspberries in this salad. Again, blot dry.
    • Lime juice. Fresh lime juice tastes best in this salad. It's much more flavorful; however, bottled lime juice can be used if fresh isn’t available. For extra zing, you can also add some zest from the peel of your lime to the dressing.
    • Honey. Use a good quality honey for the best flavor.
    • Fresh mint leaves. Small whole leaves look stunning in this dish. You can also slice or chop larger leaves if you prefer.

That's everything you'll need. No added sugar!

★ How to Make this Recipe ★

This recipe is very simple to prep and takes just 10 minutes. No cooking required.

Here's a look at what you'll need to do:

Very simple! So fresh and delicious.

    ★ Tips & FAQs ★

Can I change the berries used in this mixed berry salad?

Feel free to mix and match the types and quantity or berries you use based on your preferences and seasonal availability.

Can I use frozen berries for fruit salad?

Frozen berries do not work well with this salad. Fresh berries generally provide a better texture and flavor. For best results, use fresh fruit.

What fruits can I add to fruit salad for more variety?

You can add ingredients like sliced kiwi, pineapple chunks, sliced banana, orange slices, apple slices, or other fruits as desired.

How can I store leftover fruit salad?

Store any leftover mixed berry salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator; however, it's best to consume it within 1-2 days to ensure the berries remain fresh and the salad stays crisp. This fruit salad is not suitable for freezing.

    Is fruit salad a dessert?

Absolutely! The sweet and tangy flavors make this mixed berry salad a delightful and healthy dessert option. You can also top it with a dollop of whipped cream or over a small cup of vanilla Greek yogurt ice cream for an extra treat. Add granola for extra crunch.

How much fruit salad do I need to feed a crowd?

To serve a large family or offer as a potluck side dish to a large group, simply adjust the quantities of ingredients based on the number of people you are serving. This recipe makes about 4 cups of berry salad serving 4-6 people.
Use the sliding scale in the recipe card to easily adjust the recipe quantities for the number of people you are serving.
